ONGOING PROJECT
Repairs & Renovations
As you can imagine in very busy nurseries & schools there is always work to be done - wear & tear is only to be expected; here at Busiika, everyone helps with the maintenance!
Other recent work done includes replacing the original wooden kitchen at Kitetikka Primary School with a brick building... plus lots & lots & lots of painting too!
Ongoing repairs & general upkeep of both Busiika & Kitetikka facilities remains an ongoing priority.
COMPLETED PROJECT
Busiika Primary School
We are delighted that our Primary School is now fully built. Currently we have children in Primary 1 to Primary 5, with our new classroooms ready for years Primary 6 & 7 as soon as they are needed. We also have our office & staff room which gives our teachers some space too.
Plus we have our workshop which we currently use for a sewing class for some of the local mums too.
COMPLETED PROJECT
Sunbeams Nursery
Sunbeams Nursery started off with only a few little ones & now cares for & educates approx 100 children. This building project is now complete; we have our baby, middle & top classes, fully built, painted & furnished.. thank you so much to everyone who helped, whether financially or practically... you are helping us educate the children of Busiika.
